'Black swan ' was the big victor at the 2011 Film Independent Spirit Awards . The ballet drama won four awards at the event in Los Angeles on Saturday, together with the ceremony's most coveted prize, Best Feature.

The film as well snagged the awards for Best Director (Darren Aronofsky), Best Female Lead (Natalie Portman) and Best Cinematography (Matthew Libatique).
Portman, who has been extensive awards all season, is a strong favorite to win Best performer headed into tonight's Oscar telecast .

Meanwhile, Oscar nominee James Franco won Best Male Lead for his performance in the Danny Boyle drama '127 Hours,' in which he plays real-life mountain climber Aron Ralston, who was forced to amputate his own arm after it became trapped by a boulder in 2003.
Franco, who will be co-hosting the Oscars along with Anne Hathaway, before won Best Supporting Male Actor at the 2009 Independent Spirit Awards for 'Milk.' More winners after the jump.
