Anyone can feel there having a wife pose for Playboy that makes you popular around work -- but one cop in Ohio says it made him the target of a bogus investigation.
A police officer asserts the Gahanna Police Department made him the subject of "a detailed and invasive non-criminal investigation" of him and his entire family that began shortly after his wife posed for Playboy.
According to a lawsuit filed last week, the officer claims he was also denied the right to take leave to drill with Army National Guard and also claims his superiors at the police department badmouthed him to Army National Guard officials.
He is litigating for costs in excess of $25,000.

'USA Idol' ABC wishes Paula Abdul to skip on over post

ABC is joining the refrain of those looking for to hire Paula Abdul, who said she renounces "American Idol."
ABC programming chief Stephen McPherson told the Television Critics Association on Saturday that he was "stunned" to hear she'd decided to leave the top-rated Fox series and that he's contacted Abdul, whom he called an old friend.
McPherson told Abdul he'd love to see her at ABC, home of "Dancing with the Stars."
Abdul announced last Tuesday she was leaving as an "Idol" judge following stalemated contract talks with Fox and the show's producers. She said she quickly started receiving "wonderful" offers.
