We dare you not to cry during the season-eight premiere of The Biggest Loser. In fact, make that a double-dog-dare.

Goosebumps ran up and down our arms as we watched Tracey Yukich, 37, try to crawl to the finish line of the one-mile mark only to be taken away by medics. Our eyes welled up as Abby Rike, 35, told the tragic tale of losing her husband and two small children in a car crash.

If anyone dismissed The Biggest Loser as just another weight-loss show, think again. Now is the time to get into what is arguably one of the most emotional rollercoasters on reality TV today.

William Taylor of Centreville, Virginia was caught cheating by his wife, after she found evidence of his infidelity on his mobile phone.

He had to spend Wednesday morning standing at the busy Tysons Corner crossroad wearing a large placard emblazoned with the words, ‘I cheated. This is my punishment’.

Taylor said: “I thought she was kidding, but she was serious. I figured I got to do what I got to do to makes things right. So here I am.”

Apparently, the dude had to stand in the street for two hours until his wife told him that his punishment was completed via a mobile phone.
