'Potter' opposition with Malfoy rolls impious in sixth film

WATFORD, England — In Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, the enduring teenager dispute among the bespectacled boy wizard and his bratty blond nemesis, Draco Malfoy, becomes something much nastier.

though the two have been at loggerheads since Harry started at Hogwarts, things have gotten downright deadly. Harry and Draco's dealings goes from annoying taunts to critical roles in a deadly battle that alters the course of their wizardly world.

And the actors, no longer boys, are up for the manly confronting in the sixth episode, opening in theaters Wednesday.

"It was youngster opposition before," says Daniel Radcliffe, who plays Harry. "It was playground insults. It was all pretty tame stuff. And then suddenly this time 'round, it actually gets nasty. Draco is turning into something much more meaningful and menacing."

But the aura of menace is nowhere to be found between takes on the convivial Potter set, a previous airplane hangar about an hour outside London. Longtime co-stars have come to regard one another almost as family, having starred in five earlier Potter films mutually.

That was the first thought through our heads after reading a report that claimed Sharon Stone was greeted by police at Salt Lake City Airport after some kind of scuffle with a Delta cabin crew over her refusal to check her carry-on.

But fear not, travelers, while people in uniform did meet the 51-year-old actress at the gates, contrary to the claims in a Stylist.com report, it was not because Stone went Basic Instinct...

"The airport police were requested by her," airport spokeswoman Barbara Gann tells E! News. "She was traveling alone and had requested in advance if we could give her special assistance because she was traveling alone and didn't want to cause disruption or congestion from autograph seekers."

Gann says that she was unaware of any disturbance caused by Stone.

Biggest Loser Couple Gains Baby Boy

Amy and Marty Wolff may have lost on The Biggest Loser, but their gains have been exponentially greater.

The couple, who met on the weight-loss competition's third cycle in 2007 and were married in March 2008, welcomed theirfirst child Saturday morning, according to people.

Son Blaine Patrick Wolff arrived at Alegent Lakeside Hospital in Omaha, Neb. He weighed in at a sizable 10 pounds, 14 ounces, and was 22.5 inches long.

"We are all doing great," the new mom told the magazine, "and are enjoying getting to know each other."

Judge Removes Mom From Control of Michael Jackson's Estate

A judge said Monday that Michael Jackson's longtime attorney and a family friend should take over the pop singer's estate for now, rejecting a request from Jackson's mother to be put in charge.

Jackson's 2002 will names John Branca and John McClain as co-executors of his estate, and his mother katherine jackson as the beneficiary, as well as guardian of his three children, Michael Jr., 12, Paris Michael, 11, and Prince Michael, 7. Jackson's estate is estimated in court filings as being worth more than $500 million.

Judge Mitchell Beckloff ruled that Branca and McClain would have to pay a $1 million bond on the estate and that their authority would end Aug. 3, followed by another hearing on the estate.

Katherine Jackson, was granted some limited powers over the singer's estate days after his death. Her attorney's asked Monday that she be named co-administrator on the estate with Branca and McClain, but Beckloff denied the request.
