Kristen Johnston is new Ugly Betty to replace to Paula Abdul

Kristen Johnston is set to replace former American idol judge Paula Abdul in Ugly Betty.
The “3rd Rock” actress will be playing the role of Helen in the hit US sitcom, Mode’s newest office temp and Amanda’s elder doppelganger.
Abdul who sensationally quit American Idol via Twitter had been in negotiations to play the part, but last week the deal fell apart due to her diva demands, which include a private jet.
Johnston said: “I’ve always considered myself a poor man’s Paula Abdul” and went to to describe her Betty character as “Amanda in 10 years. She’s still trying to get into the right clubs, wearing tight dresses… tragic. I think (Helen) sees herself as Samantha from ‘Sex and the City.’ Except, of course, she’s a temp.”

Simon Cowell wowed on 'X Factor'

That was single-handedly the best first audition I have ever heard,” marveled Simon Cowell on a recent episode of Britain’s The X Factor. What incandescent performer got the notoriously hard-to-please Cowell gushing? Danyl Johnson, a 27-year-old schoolteacher who delivered a soulful, rather Joe Cocker-esque rendition of the Beatles’ “With A Little Help From My Friends.”
It’s a rare singer who can lift Cowell out of his standard grouchitude. More than standard, actually, in this case: Popeater reports that the judge had earlier “stormed out of the arena, disheartened at the sight of a man dressed in a blue gorilla outfit.” (Who wouldn’t be disheartened by such a sight?) Cowell then went “searching for an aspirin,” and “claimed the day had been a ‘waste of time. Something didn’t click today.’”
That, of course, was before he heard Johnson’s take on “With A Little Help From My Friends.” While the celebrated audition sadly isn’t embeddable here, it can be viewed on YouTube. Click over to check out Johnson’s performance — the guy’s definitely got some powerful pipes. Then you tell us: Is this really the best first audition in the history of reality-TV singing competitions, or has Cowell lost it?

Ryan Jenkins videos---I Love My Wife

Jenkins also placed this video to My Space at the same time. Once again they are in Las Vegas, but Jasmine's hair is blonde in the video -- so it was probably taken a different time.

Ryan Jenkins Video---I Love My Wife

only two weeks earlier than he supposedly murdered Jasmine Fiore, Ryan Jenkins was cooing at the Palms pool in Las Vegas, "Damn, I love my life. And I love my wife." His comments came as Jasmine danced for him poolside.

Jenkins posted the video on his MSpace page on August 9. Law enforcement believes he strangled Fiore on August 14.

Papa Lohan speaks Lindsay's House raids

Law enforcement sources tell Michael Lohan called the LAPD this morning to report a break-in at Lindsay Lohan's house -- and it's all on tape. Again.
A source on scene tells that three men were captured by surveillance video breaking into Lindsay's house in the Hollywood Hills.

Michael Lohan tells a safe was ripped off the wall and a couple of watches were taken. He believes it's "an inside job" because the people that work for Lindsay failed to turn the alarm on. He says, "I am not going to put up with individuals my family violating. Lindsay is a charitable, generous person that always gives. This is a eprsonal violation and it has got to stop."

We're told Lindsay came home early this morning, around 3:00 AM, discovered the break-in and called her dad.

LAPD officers are on scene right now investigating -- her Mercedes is in the driveway.
