Rear in more contented times, we may well watch Jon & Kate Plus 8 and think, "Man, I would not want to be couple to that one." Whether it was Kate's cutting comments or Jon's boring air of world-weariness, viewers could decide for themselves which of the Gosselins to sympathize with. (For us: It's the kids, always the kids.)
These days, it's so much harder to choose sides. Should you side with Kate over Jon's traveling off to France , Jon because he has been upstaged by her hair for too long? It's so hard!
